Maintain Your InvestmentPreventative scheduled maintenance is an important investment to
optimize the performance, durability, r eliability, safety and resale value
of your Infiniti. Scheduling your v ehicle’s maintenance at the
recommended intervals will ensure your vehicle is running at its best.
We want you to enjoy your Infiniti vehicle. This Service and Maintenance
Guide is designed to help you make sure your vehicle receives proper
and timely maintenance that is necessary. Key services are explained in
detail, along with an outline of scheduled maintenance to help you
maintain y our vehicle. Your local Infiniti retailer canassist you in
determining the best schedule based on your driving habits and local
conditions.
Failure to perform scheduled maintenance may result in excluding
portions of your vehicle from warranty coverage and may reduce the
performance, durability, reliabi lity, safety and/or resale value of your
vehicle. See your Warranty Information Booklet and Owner’s Manual for
details.

As a condition of your vehicle’s warranty, you are responsible for properly maintaining your vehicle. In maintaining your
vehicle, you should follow either Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 as listed below. Use these guidelines to determine which
maintenance schedule to use.
SCHEDULE 1 (more severe operating
conditions), every 3,750 miles or 3 months,
whichever comes first
Use Schedule 1 if you primarily oper-
ate your vehicle under any of these
conditions:
● Repeated short trips of less than 5
miles in normal temperatures or less
than 10 miles in freezing temperatures
● Stop-and-go traffic in hot weather or
low speed driving for long distances
● Driving in dusty conditions or on
rough, muddy, or salt-spread roads
● Towing a trailer, or using a camper or
car-top carrier
SCHEDULE 2 (less severe operating
conditions), every 7,500 miles or 6 months,
whichever comes first
Schedule 2 features 7,500-mile ser-
vice intervals; with Schedule 2 fewer
maintenance items are regularly
checked or replaced than with Sched-
ule 1.
Generally, Schedule 2 applies only to
highway driving in temperate
conditions. Use Schedule 2 only if you
primarily operate your vehicle under
conditions other than those listed in
Schedule 1.
PREMIUM MAINTENANCE*
Premium Maintenance is a Infiniti-
recommended optional upgrade that
adds services to Schedule 1 and 2
when maintenance is performed.
Performing the Premium upgrade ser-
vices may optimize the performance,
durability, reliabi lity, and resale value
of your vehicle. (Premium Mainte-
nance items are available at every 30,
000 miles or 24 month interval.)
* Premium Maintenance is an Infiniti-recommended option; however, you need not perform such maintenance in order to maintain the warranties which co me with your
Infiniti. Premium Maintenance may not be available outside the United States, please inquire of your retailer.
❑ For the ultimate in prev entative maintenance, ask your Service Co nsultant for a complimentary Multi-Point In spection every time you visit y our participating Infiniti
retailer. See page 12 and 13 for more information on Multi-Point Inspections.
DETERMINING THE PROPER MAINTENANCE INTERVAL

The following descriptions are pro-
vided to give you a better understand-
ing of the scheduled maintenance
items that should be regularly
checked or replaced. The mainte-
nance log indicates at which
mileage/time intervals each item re-
quires service.
In addition to scheduled mainte-
nance, your Infiniti requires that
some items be checked during nor-
mal day-to-day operation. You can
find these items listed under “Gen-
eral Maintenance” in Chapter 8 of
your Owner’s manual.
Items marked with“*”are recom-
mended by Infiniti for reliable vehicle
operation. You are not required to per-
form such maintenance in order to
maintain the emission warranty or
manufacturer recall liability. Other
maintenance items and intervals are
required. When applicable, additional informa-
tion can be found in the “Do-it-
yourself” section in Chapter 8 of your
Owner’s Manual.
NOTE:Nissan North America
does not advocate the use of
non-OEM approved
aftermarket flushing systems
and strongly advises against
performing these services on a
Infinti product. Many of the
aftermarket flushing systems
use non- OEM approved
chemicals or solvents, the use
of which has not been
validated by Nissan North
America.
For recommended fuel, lubricants,
fluids, grease, and refrigerant refer to
Chapter 9 in your Owner’s Manual.
